The Amazing Emerald Cave(Tham Morakot), behind the sheer
cliff of Koh Muk. Tourist has to wear life jackets and swim
slowly through small cavity to the cave about 80 meters.
However this cave is available to visit only at low tide.
Inside the Emerald Cave is beautiful as its name by the
emerald water and white sand beach, surrounded by high cliff
and covered by the blue sky. This is one of the wonderful
natures, which cannot find anywhere in Thailand. It's a
worth visiting while staying at Lanta Island, which takes
about 1.30 hrs. speed boat ride.
Diving, snorkeling, kayaking, day-trips

Koh Lanta is a significant diving spot, plenty of local
reefs, a lot more peaceful and more pistine than the ones
round Phukhet and Phi Phi. The diving season runs from December
to April, not recommended for the rest of the year as the
seas are too rough for the boat ride and pretty rainy.
Koh Lanta's best diving sites are between Koh Lanta and
Koh Phi Phi, including beautiful coral at Hin Bidah, where
lived a lots of leopard sharks, tuna and barcuda West and
south of Lanta is the Ko Ha island group which offers four
different diving sites on each of its five islands, including
steep drop off and caves.
Kayaking
The north coast of Koh Lanta Noi, near by Ban Rapu, is
rich in mangroves and caves which makes it interest to explore
by kayak. Kayaking outings can be arranged by various tour
operators at Sala Dan.
Day trips
Koh Lanta's biggest in land attraction is the Tham Mai
Kaew caves, located in the heart of the island and signpost
from the west-coast road at Hat Klong Nin. There are myriad
chambers here, some of which we can only just crawl into
and they boast stalactites and interesting rock formations
as well as a creepy cave pool and the inevitable bats. To
explore the cave properly, we need to bring our own torch,
and we need a local guide to act as caretakers and guides
the tour. The tour program could also combine with Waterfall
inland from Ao Klong Jaak, visiting the Cave and elephant
ride, which cost less than 40 US$ per person/full day.
Getting to Koh Lanta Yai, Krabi, visitors need to fly an
hour flight from Bangkok and then take approx. 1 hrs. car
ride to Sala Dan Pier. The road to Koh Lanta Yai is still
rugged, and considered inconvenient to reach the two resorts
by car. The resorts provide speed boat to pick up their
guests at Sala Dan Pier and take 30 minutes to both resort.
