EMPORIUM 
 Emporium, one of the newest and most luxurious shopping mall located on Sukhumvit Road. The Emporium is superior to other leading malls as it's the most completed malls; world famous brand name fashion boutique: Versace, Louis Vuitton, Channel, Hermes, Christian Dior, Celene, Kenso, Cartier, DKNY, Quess, Morgan, Charles Joudon, Jim Thomson Shop, Book Stores, Rare Thai Cotton & Silk at Arts & Crafts Pavillion. We can say that all in here, the Emporium, especially variety of tastety restaurants and some of them always need a long waitlist; for example, the Fuji, Japanese Restaurant.    CENTRAL CHIDROM    
Central chidrom. Of all several branch of Central Department Store, Central Chidlom is the most popular branch. Central Chidlom display its showoom at first class class market' s taste. At Central Chidlom, shoppers can find also exclusive products of Thailand; Thai designer fashions, best collection of Thai Souvenirs and Handicrafts from Nationwide, larger collection than the Emporium. Unlike the Emporium, shoppers can find also variety of beautify jewelry shops on the G Floor at reasonable price, and also Starbucks Coffee House for some break. There are less choice of nice places for dining at Central Chidlom and also large books store and enjoyable food court than the Emporium, but until now, Central Chidlom is still landmark of old high society members of the Bangkokians, where is still their venue for shopping open everyday from 10 am. - 9 pm.      

   GRAYSON PLAZA 
Grayson Plaza . One of the Newest Shopping Complex. Its location is on the Prime area at the Ratprasong Intersection's cornor, crossing street to Sogo Department Store and World Trade Center and a few Minutes walk to Central Chidlom Department Stores and also to Naryphan, second famous Thai Souvenir Shop after Jim Thomson. Majority of their shoppers are foreign tourists. Two of the famous restaurants are also located at Grayson Plaza, Planet Hollywood and Fisherman's Seafood on its basement, serving daily fresh seafood and voted Seafood Restaurant of the Yearping open from 10 am. - 9 pm.      

   THE PENINSULAR PLAZA   
located in between the Regent Bangkok and the Grand Hyatt Erawan on Rajprasong Road. The Plaza has its own character serving those who look for exclusiveness lifestyle and less crowded and special lunch venue at Le Jardin, a garden style restaurant with live piano band daily. Shopper can find all exclusive shop here: Louis Vuitton, Kenso, Cartier and top Thai Pichitra, Thiraphan, Duang Jai Bis. Best time to go is from 10:30-17:00 hr. unlike other shopping complex which is crowded until shop close at 21:00 or 22:00 PM.      

 

   SIAM DISCOVERY CENTER 
One of the most active shopping centered located at one of Bangkok Major shopping areas; Mah Book Klong, a popular variety shopping center at walking across the street distance, and Siam Square, most popular university shopping square, just the opposite site and about 10 minutes' walk to Graysorn Plaza and World Trade Center. Siam Discovery gains more and more popularity after new cinema complex first launched last year. Several nice home decoration and exclusive stores; namely Mae Fah Luang Project(Late Princess Mother's Foundation) which sell exclusive design Thai Cotton & Silk Fabric, Habitat, Chaliang, Anyroom.    WORLD TRADE CENTER 
largest shopping complex of Bangkok. There are two major department stores; Zen and Isetan of Japan. Shoppers can find all kind of shops here. This is the most comprehensive place to find home furniture, electric cooking applicants, sanitary wears, office furniture on the 5th floor. Supermarket at the Isetan is considered one of the best supermarket in town to find best quality of imported kitchen wears, grocery, especially from Japan. There is variety of Thai fast food at food center on 6th Floor. Cinema Complex is also on the 6th floor. One talk of the town restaurant is located on 4th floor of Zen called"Nood-Greyhound", serving Thai favorite dish; noodle, cooked in different ways. It's a must try restaurant if noodle is your favorite menu. Open daily from 10:00-21:00 hr.

 

   RIVER CITY SHOPPING COMPLEX 
This complex is famous for Antique, best place to find antique collection, located at the Chaophya Riverside, next door of the Royal Orchid Sheraton. The River City can be reached by hotel shuttle boat from other riverside hotels; the Oriental, the Shangri-La, the Peninsular, the Marriott Riverside, etc. The River City not only famous for antique, shopper can find also rare Antique Thai Silk, Jewelry and Painting. After shopping, shopper can find some good choice of Thai Theme Restaurant at the shopping complex, one of them is Sala Thai.    ORIENTAL PLACE      
This new shopping place located at walking distance from the Oriental. It's the top exclusive place to buy Thai and Oriental Antique as well as rare to find antique from Burma, Kampuchea, Vietnam, Painting, Thai Silk, Jewelry and Carpets. All products here are exclusive private collection, so shoppers can enjoy their shopping time to find the nicest collection in town on the complex red carpet. Open daily from 09:30-19:30 hr.

 

   JATUCHAK WEEKEND  One of the amazing weekend market of the world,
        for those who seek for shopping adventure experience, it's a worthwhile spending some 2-3 hour on this exciting weekend market. The market is 100% opened on Saturday and Sunday, more than 50% opened on Friday starting from 07:00 hr.. until the sun set at approximately 18:00 hr. To enjoy the shopping at Jatuchak Market, shoppers are recommended for: Dress Code: Summer Dress, Comfortable Shoes, then take breakfast and then brave yourself. It's recommended to be at the market at either 08:00-09:00 am, afternoon visit is not recommended to avoid the sun heat. It's difficult for limousine or hotel car to pick you up to the hotel from Jatuchak..It's advised to ask the hotel concierge to write note in Thai for taxi driver where you wish to go from Jatuchak.
        At the Jatuchak Market, you will be very rich there as you can find a good quality handicraft, home decorative items from nationwide, hill tribesman's handicrafts. Most of the vendors come from all parts of the nation to sell their local products, sale price here is very cheap, may be half price of those soled on leading department store, but you need to be lucky, too. If you wish to find the really good price their, more effort is needed to explore the best bargaining price, normally you can bargain for some 20-40% discount of the vendors' ask price. You can get wholesales price if you ask for 6-12 pieces up for one kind of product, then you can save up to 30-50%. Before you make the final decision, it's recommended to recheck the product quality, so as not to be disappointed when you unpack it. At several major antique, furniture shop, there is also shipping services to your country. It's rather more convenience these days. At this famous market, you can find also the pet market where you can find puppies, gold fishes, turtles, parrots, snakes, lizards, gabby mice, etc. It's all in here, alive pet market. Please avoid food here and drink only bottled water or Coke or Pepsi cans which are easily found elsewhere at the Market.
